Alcohol based tinctures keep very well in dry storage, technically for an indefinite time period. A conservative expiration date is 6 years from bottling date. Just make sure your tincture is kept in a cool, dry space and is well sealed.

Glycerin based extracts keep very well in dry storage. A conservative expiration date is 3 years from bottling date. Just make sure your extract is kept in a cool, dry space and is well sealed.

How much chamomile do I take?
All dosage is suggested and should be discussed with a healthcare practitioner before use. Adults, take one dropper full as needed. See below for babies/children’s doses.

Is chamomile safe for small children?
Chamomile is not only safe, but effective for babies and children. General dose recommendations are as follows:
0-3 mos. – 2 drops
3-6 mos. – 3 drops
6-9 mos. – 4 drops
9-12 mos. – 5 drops
1-8 years of age – 1/4 of an adult dose
9-12 years of age – 1/2 of adult dose

    We use the extract to help our son cope with teething pain. It always helps to calm him down, and he loves the taste!

    We LOVE the camomile extract in our home. My toddler calls the camomile her sleeping medicine and we use it every night. I’m sure we’ll be using it to help sooth gas and colic with baby #2.
